CLINICAL & EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Dr. Pagano holds a BA in Philosophy and Psychology from Vassar College, and a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Boston University. His clinical training includes an internship in child and adult psychotherapy at the Harvard Medical School’s Massachusetts Mental Health Center. He also received specialized post-doctoral training in outpatient adult psychodynamic psychotherapy in a two-year fellowship at the Center for Psychoanalytic Studies at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Dr. Pagano has treated patients of all ages in his part-time practice in Brookline since 1995. In addition, from 2000-2017, he was the Director of Child & Adolescent Inpatient Psychology Training, Psychological Testing and Group Programming at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), a Harvard Medical School affiliate. In 2017, he expanded his practice to full-time, with a focus on adults, couples, adolescents, children, and parenting, utitlizing experiential dynamic therapy models, including Emotionally Focused Therapy for individuals, couples and families.
